బుజ్జిపిట్ట బుల్లిపిట్ట గూటిలోని గువ్వపిట్ట..

ప్రశాంతతకి మారుపేరులా కనిపించే గువ్వపిట్ట..

సరిగ్గా చెప్పాలంటే englishలో Spotted Dove,  తెలుగులో అన్ని రకాల గువ్వలకీ (చాలా రకాలున్నాయి) గువ్వనే అంటారనుకుంటా!!

ఇంతకీ ఈ గువ్వ మేం పెంచిన మొక్కల వెనక కారిడార్ పిట్టగోడ మీద మేడంటే మేడాకాదు, గూడంటే గూడూ కాదు అన్నట్టు ఓ పది ఎండు తీగలు గుండ్రంగా అమర్చి ఆ మధ్యలో ఓ గుడ్డు పెట్టాయి. ఉగాదినాడు కనబడిందా గుడ్డు, లేత ఇటుక రంగులో. తరువాత రోజు రెండున్నాయి. అవంతేట, ఒకటి రెండు రోజుల gapలో రెండు గుడ్లు పెడతాయిట.

ఏ క్షణం చూసినా తల్లో, తండ్రో – రెండిట్లో ఒకటి ఆ రెండు – పెద్ద గోళీ సైజున్న  గుడ్లని వెచ్చగా వుంచుతూ అక్కడే ఉంటున్నాయి. నిన్న అనుకోకుండా కొంచెం దగ్గరగా వెళ్తే పక్షి ఎగిరిపోయింది, రెండు గుడ్లూ తెల్లబడ్డాయి. FBలో ఫోటోలు పెడితే మూడువారాల్లో పిల్లలు బయటపడతాయని కామెంట్సొచ్చాయి. ఇవాళ్టికి 12 రోజులు. Waiting for the exciting moment during next week. Personification of ప్రశాంతత (Birdification of ప్రశాంతత అనాలా?!?!) అనిపించే రెండు జీవులు ప్రపంచంలోకి అడుగుపెడతాయి!! అప్పుడు మళ్ళీ ఫొటోలు పెడతా!!

    Leave them to the natural habitat. Try to keep water near by for birds to drink in wide mouthed cup etc. as the summer is severe. Just watch. Parent birds will take care of the new ones from natural enemies. Some times the new ones die. This process is regular feature for us during summer

    //natural habitat// ఈ దేశంలోనేనో అన్ని చోట్లా ఇంతేనో కానీ గువ్వలకి కాదేదీ గూటికనర్హం అంటున్నారు. (గువ్వల్లోనూ శ్రీశ్రీలు ఉన్నారేమో!!) FBలో ఒకళ్ళు ఫోటో పెట్టారు Wall fan వెనకవైపు గూడు కట్టాయి.

    I mean that let them continue where they are. My expression may be misleading. They set up a nest where ever possible. On two electric services,in the fold of the sun guard cloth and so on. We cant expect. Some times the nest is visible but un acceceble. As poor at this language forgive the mistakes. Forced or tempted to write in english as telugu is not there in my cell. Thank you.
